THREE DAYS: Coolamon, Junee, Temora
Day 1: The quaint town of Coolamon is packed with plenty of delightful shopping experiences ranging from antiques, boutiques, op shops and craft shops.
THREE DAYS: Bethungra, Junee, Coolamon, Ganmain, Ariah Park, Temora
Day 1: Get in touch with nature; this outdoor adventure starts at the Bethungra Dam Reserve. Park your car near the Dam and enjoy a walk into the Ulandra Nature Reserve through native forests, until you reach the remains of the former homestead and well-maintained shearing shed with commanding views over the surrounding countryside.
This drive takes you through the three major towns on the Canola Trail, where you can see the iconic attractions each town offers. Begin your day in Junee, home to the famous Junee Licorice and Chocolate Factory.
Take a tour of the factory, make a giant freckle, browse through their gift shop and enjoy a coffee and light morning tea in the cafe. From there, take a drive up the hill to the ghostly Monte Cristo, which is said to be Australia’s most haunted house.
THREE DAYS: Temora, Junee, Coolamon
Day 1: This adventure begins at the Temora Aviation Museum which houses Australia’s oldest Tiger Moth, which still flies! While in Temora a ‘must see’ is the Temora Rural Museum which gives insight into how the traditional rural lifestyle has changed over time.
ONE DAY: Ariah Park, Beckom, Ganmain, Marrar, Matong, Ardlethan
This one-day drive takes you to a selection of the smaller villages on the Canola Trail. With each one as unique as the next, these villages have country character and a fascinating history that you can experience at your own pace.
TWO DAYS: Temora, Bethungra, Junee, Coolamon, Ganmain, Ariah Park, Temora
Day 1: This two-day trip takes in a selection of the best cafes and restaurants on the Canola Trail. Your gastronomic journey begins in Temora with a local -produce-inspired breakfast at Zest BYO.
